Default 01 2.5RS to LHD STi RA

Well after 7 months of being back in the states, I finally found myself a Subaru in December 2013. I bought it from a guy that I work with. It had a blown engine, big dent on the rear quarter, ruined front fender, it has sat for the last three years and was infested with spiders. Absolutely no rust though! I am installing all of the parts that I removed from my 99 STi Type R that I owned while in Okinawa Japan. My goal is to make a white LHD version 6 STi RA replica.

For the motor, I will be using my Version 6 EJ207 block/heads with USDM WRX intake manifold/TGVs, wiring, exhaust, etc so it will pass CA smog.

Here is the link to my old car: '99 STi Type R

haha thanks, next step is to grind down the old welds from the roof, cut the hole for the roof vent, install the roof with 3M panel bond, paint the roof troughs, areas around the windshield, door jambs, and engine bay. Then get the harnesses merged by Iwire, and then I can start putting all the good stuff on!

@George, yea I do miss it sometimes, but I do like being home as well.

Roof vent hole cut in the new roof. Next I will panel bond it on, and then paint the edges under the front and rear window, door jambs, trunk, and engine bay white.

I also spent some time trying to get the frame straight where the right headlight was pushed in. I got it pretty straight, so I will just have to live with it, it is a lot better than it was.
