All these rear sway bars should be interchangable. STI bars are said to fit regular imprezas if you bolt them to the outside of the endlinks.
Non-turbo FSBs will fit non-turbo cars.
Turbo FSBs will fit turbo cars.

brdrhopper - That's a Legacy rear sway bar. You can tell from the slight bend in the middle section.
Either the owner installed a Legacy bar on his OBS, or you are confusing the Impreza Outback Sport and Legacy Outback models - they are two different things.
you know, i could have been wrong and it might have been a legacy obs i just remember it saying limited on the side and had leather heated seats (damn me not having a good enough job lol) either way it fits just fine on my 00 sedan and boy what a difference
the RS in some years had an option for leather seats. but i believe that was a dealership option.
and to the last poster. yes the size is refering to the diameter. so larger rear sway bar to match the front or slightly larger will greatly improve the handling of the car.
i might be headed back to that yard this week and ill try to get pics, the preduction code on the door jam sticker was 4/99 unless this guy had some stuff done to it i thought they were heated and leather...might have just been the overwhelming joy of finding a set of sways front and rear for 30 lol
is it refering to the diameter of the sway bar? and whats the advantage of using the larger diameter? would i really notice the difference in upgrading?
was frustrated that there's nothing better than the rallitek 22mm FSB for us NAs. i'd REALLY like a 27mm FSB to go with my cobb 25mm RSB on middle setting. tribeca FSB doesn't seem like the best route to go either, being it's effectively a 22.25mm.
anyone have luck using 27mm whiteline bar on an NA with stock headers?

hmm... 22-24 might do.. though i heard that whiteline has a specific one for the forester (MY05).. not sure what the difference from the RS one is.. are your RS FSBs the same width as WRX and STI FSBs?
Which PN is that 22-24 btw? I can never seem to find a good Whiteline distributor..
I know that rear GD sway bars fit on GC's but i found a deal on a front sway bar on ebay from an 04 wrx i think, only a few words in description, but it says will fit 02-07.
Just wandering if it would fit on my car (96 L). thank you
the bars will fit and seems like a fantastic upgrade...my best friend works as the head mechanic at our local subaru shop they are doing a 04 STI conversion on one i can box this stuff up for you can you send me a full address so i can look into the shipping i will let this stuff go for cheap i will let you know
