Default R160 Rear Diff Breather Removal

Looking for instruction on removing an R160 rear differential breather in order to gain access to the 14 mm bolts in order to remove rear differential cover. Not sure if this just pulls out or if it needs to be pried out.
I really don't want to break it if it can be avoided. Thanks in advance.

No one has had to remove an R160 rear diff cover? If all the other 14 mm bolts are removed can the remaining one behind the breather be backed out with a crescent wrench while lifting the cover away from the diff to remove the cover?

Subaru R160 rear differential - Google Search

The brown breather cap in the image on the upper right side of the diff cover sits in front of the 14 mm diff cover bolt - there can't be more than 2 mm of space between the 2 items (I'm at work so I can't actually measure the gap, however, I fail to see how that particular bolt is coming out without the breather either being removed, or somehow removing all the other bolts and attempting to slowly loosen this bolt as I simultaneously lift the cover while loosening / un-threading the the bolt from the diff case.)

With the diff sitting on the ground/bench you should be able to use a box wrench to crack the tension free then it's just a matter of wiggling the rear cover away as you continue to remove the bolt. start with this bolt when you need to put it back on.

That was the only feasible way I could figure to do it - just wanted other members' take on it - didn't know if there was a trick to removing the breather or not. Thanks

IDK if it helps, but I sold an old rear diff and I remember that piece just popped off. I snapped it back on.

Yeah - for anyone that may need to access that bolt or remove the breather in any future endeavors, the breather is all plastic with 2 plastic tabs you squeeze slightly at the base to remove it from the hole - sort of like wiring harness connection tabs...same principle.
