Default Gear Oil for 5MT

So I figured I'd make a poll for this, see what most people prefer and their feedback on specific gear oils for the 5MT.

Right now I'm using Valvoline SynPower Synthetic 75W90 in my newish 2000 Impreza RS tranny in my Subaru Outback.

Tell us what you use and recommend and stay away from.

I use Redline 75w90NS, transmission feels great! I'd recommend it.

Although, haven't tried anything else besides what the car came with - so nothing to compare it to.

1 qt - GM synchromesh
Ballance - Castrol synthetic gear lube

Very smooth and no cold weather sticky shifts...

I remember a thread not so long ago about the side effects of uncle scotty's. How has it been treated you? How long have you been using it? I was always curious about using it.

Castrol Syntec 75W90 in both of the 02 WRX gearboxes I've run. No complaints during the summer or some of the Canadian winters they've seen (although -50C/-58F was a bit thick)
