Great Point! AWDALBERT made the post saying seats fit, maybe he'll chime in and let me know so I can update the list to seperate front/rear seats if i need to. Thanks!

No problem. I actually need rear seats because mine have some sort of red...stain..on them. Haha. So any development on this will be helpful.

Hey guys newbie question...new to the site...and this mightve already been said...but im about to take over my moms 06 impreza 2.5i and havent seen many aftermarket parts for it...however ive read online that aftermarket parts for the 05 04 03 and so on 2.5rs would fit my car without a problem because they are the same car and that subaru just decided to change the name...can anyone verify this? thanks for the help!

Future plans for the subi:

-Injen CAI
-Exhaust
-18 inch rims

-WRX brakes fit on any model with proper caliper brackets
-H6 rear brakes fit on any model with proper caliper brackets
-STI struts/springs fit all models with GC top hats

just some common stuff discussed here I though of
Is that confirmed? I've been trying to answer that question for about a week. I'm guessing that since the part number for the front top hats are the same between my 98 OBS and the 04 STI, that they bolt right up no problem. The numbers are different for the rears, so I was unsure. I will be finding out in the next week or so.... hopefully it's not "the hard way." I had read somewhere else a while back that you have to use the spring and top hat from the same year model car. What you stated goes against that grain.
There's a guy with a 99 Legacy in the for sale section with 04 STI struts/shocks. I asked him what he had to do but did not get a response. The top hat part numbers were the same for the Legacy and my OBS, so if it worked for him it should work for me.... I hope...

Also, the OP should be updated to show that there is a difference between the 02-04 WRX/STI and the 05+ STI struts. I think the WRX stayed the same after 04 (not confirmed in MY searching), but the STI's were too different to bolt right up. I found that out in my searching for answers about 04 STI struts fitting my 98 OBS. You have to weld one of the mounting holes closed and re-drill it if using 05+ shocks/struts on a 04- car.

Seats will fit but you'll have issues letting passengers in the back because the sedan seats do not have the same forward folding angle as the 2 doors.

They will also be about an inch higher, so you notice that your line of sight is higher and your head closer to the headliner.

I have been trying to determine a clean way to do EXACTLY this thread... This is AWESOME... Thank you for getting this going.... I will try to add.

I am going to research part numbers across models from sites.
