Default JVC double din wont fit stock dash trim.

Hey guys anyone encounter any problems with jvc double din stereo. Mines a 7" screen. The screen fits just the actual stereo unit is too large for the dash trim. I'm thinking of shaving the trim to fit it. I tried installing the trim from the front of the unit and the back.

I took a rotary tool to my trim piece when I installed my Pioneer indash the other day. Don't take too much off the sides, mine has a small gap on the sides. I re-positioned the mounting holes on the factory bracket to the radio and it fit much better after that.

Part of my trim was already shaved from previous owner for a single din at some point so I knew I had to hack it up more for the double din. I left the bottom alone and pretty much took off the top and sides. I'll try and get a picture tomorrow.
