I would hope the clips should mate up properly...

If not, I'd definately leave it alone...

airbag stystems are NOT to be modified, only defeated and turned off if needed

Anyone know? Should this be the same as the 04 STi wheel? Do you need to swap airbags and cruise control stalks from the RS wheel? Will the horn work?

Horn will work, cruise will need a little modified IIRC. But you'll need the clock spring to make the airbag to work.

I heard you can swap the airbag explosives from the RS wheel to the 04 STi wheel? Does this hold true for the 06 STi wheel? Would splicing the wires to the RS plug be better?

i was told that all you need for the airbag to work is to swap the clockspring from the rs wheel to the new wheel. not too sure about the cruise.... i'm doing this swap in a week and i'll let you guys know what it requires.
