1. Will 06-07 Impreza 2.5i aka WRX TR (?) seats bolt right up to a 1995 Impreza sedan? From what few examples I've seen, the answer is yes, but they will be a bit higher like ever other seat.

2. Can the rails from the old seats be swapped to the passenger seats of the new one?

Thanks!

Edit: Both 06-07 Impreza 2.5i aka WRX TR seats bolted right up in my 95 Impreza LX, but it didn't seem like the rails could be swapped from the old seats to the new ones, so I didn't bother.
All seats are interchangeable thru 07...my buddy has my 00 RS seats front and rear in his 98 leggy gt. Some of the legacys have heated seats and such which would require the harnesses as well. Most GD seats have airbags...which make em heavier...but they're cool anyways.

Pardon me if I missed it, but is there anyway to swap the whole seat belt setup over from the wrx into the gc/gf. I have a '97 and I got the '04 seats (fronts) in and now am trying to figure out being able use the seatbelts. I am thinking about grinding the tab down on the buckle bracket from the gf and just bolting it to the '04 seat. but the seatbelt sucks so was trying to find out before I try tomorrow if I can just use the belts out of the wrx since I got them w/ the seats?

I have 04-05 seats as well front and rear...I just bolted the gc clickers onto the newer seats.

Thanks, did you end up grinding the tabs down or did you just bolt it on at a weird angle?

So apparently the 08+ seats won't bolt into the 93-01 imprezas? I'm not seeing any references to this anywhere. :/ I already have 06 tr seats which fit fine and aren't too high for me (5'11) especially with the adjustable driver height. (passengers can just deal with it, lol)

I'm looking around for good condition 04-05 black wrx front and rear seats but no luck so far, and there are tons of 08+ wrx seats on fleabay, and they look really nice.

Also, let's say I find a clean set of jdm v1-v7 wrx seats... could I swap over the lower mechanisms from 95 impreza seats or my 06 tr seats to keep the height adjustment on my seat?
