Default Interior color question

Hello all. I have a 2000 rs sedan in silver. From what I've googled the interior was only available in grey and beige.
I recently ordered some interior parts from genuinesubaruparts.com and the grey looks way lighter than what's in the car. I am at a loss, any input?

RS had black or "dark gray" interior, the light gray and beige are from non-RS models which is likely what you ended up getting.

if you're cheap or can't find the right color part, SEM (Summit Racing/ Pro auto paint stores) makes some good rattle can paint. Prep is key to the outcome and durability.

When you order interior trim pieces, look at the last to letters in the oem part number. If the last 2 letters are, OE they are dark grey. ND is light grey. GA yuck.

Ok part number on the box does end in oe. Can't see the number stamped on the part itself. Just out of curiosity I put some interior cleaner on it and it darkened up a bit. Maybe the plastic was just dry from being old? Either way still better than a broken lid lol.
