I've been having problems with my brakes overheating on the track, so I decided to design a solution to the problem. I designed a duct that fits in the V5/V6 bumper fog light opening. It fits.... LIKE A GLOVE. There is a 3-inch outlet that is suitable to cool the brakes or to feed a the engine intake. These are 3D printed out of ABS. I made some in orange, cause orange is awesome, well, and also it is easier to photograph than black.
For sale here, is one set of black no fin SubaRufus ducts. $190
They are similar to a P1 vent, however they are a lot better in several key ways.
The P1 vent has about 7 square inches of intake area, My Subarufus ducts have about 40 square inches, so mine force a lot more air into the ductwork.
The P1 vents are pretty if you can get real ones. The P1 replica vents tend to require a lot of bodywork to even fit the car. Mine bolt up to the bumper opening perfectly. Mine will require sanding and bodywork to look really pretty.
The P1 foglight surrounds don't have any provision to attach a hose. The Subarufus ducts have really nice hose barbs to connect 3" ducting.
let me know if the images are still not working for folks
