Default WaynO's 99 RS

New pics! 2/17/09

So here's my member journal for my baby:

History:
In the winter of 2008 I moved to California for an internship. When I moved I sold my old car (1996 Altima).
I had always loved the look of the 2.5RS and shortly after I arrived in the Bay Area I found exactly what I was looking for. At the end of my internship I shipped it back home with me, to Boston.

Car:
1999 Impreza 2.5RS Coupe
Rally Blue Pearl
5 Speed Trans.
120,000 miles approx

Current Set up:

Purchase Pics:

Driver:

Going to school at RPI

Modifications:
V 5/6 Struts
P1 Springs
06 STI Cat-back
04 USDM STI Front Seats
04 USDM STI Steering Wheel
06 WRX rear seats (for the pass through)
Ebay Strut Tower Brace
RallyArmor Classic Flaps
20 mm RSB
Yakima Powderhound Racks
Borla Replica Headers, wrapped

Current Project(s):

Nothing really, just trying to get through college till the summer.

Future Projects:
The previous owner sucked pretty bad, cutting holes in the door cards for speakers. So that will probably be the next project.

Table of Contents:

Feel free to leave any comments! Let me know what you think.

New Interior Pics

In the spring of 08, I got a pretty good deal on some STI front seats and a steering wheel. The install was really easy, it just took some time to get the horn wired properly.

And the rears

The P1's are awesome, I would definitely recommend them, as would just about anyone else on here. They are a good mix of handling without compromising ride height.

Evan, yes I know I'm a lazy bastard

Mudflap pics coming soon!

Update

Pics in post 2

I swapped out my interior with a little upgrade. Got 04 USDM fronts, 06 wrx rears, and a free steering wheel

Let me know what you guys think.

Im not sure how i feel about the grey backs and blue fronts but I don't mind it. The blue suede really sets off the RBP color nicely.
