Thanks guys, with spot weld drill bits it came off pretty easily, welding them back up was a royal bitch. Id spend the time to either drill smaller holes out of the factory spot welds with another bit, it took about an hour to get the roof skin off once the glass and hatch were off, and about 3 hours to get the new skin on/aligned/welded, another hour to seam seal and primer where it was needed. All in all probably 10-12 hours of work.

Ive had one of the subaru accessory trunk basket things for a while, its great but theres no hold downs in my car (im going to order those, newer OBS models have them) so it slides all over and screws up my trunk, and on top of that the board always falls in because i have no spare.

So i built a little spare tire cubby organizer thing, mounted the hot shit spray bottle and plenty of room for everything else i usually carry.

The essentials:
-Compressor
-Tool kit, tools, plug kit etc
-Jump cables
-Extinguisher
-tow straps and leads
-roll up hammock and straps
-rain jacket
-first aid kit

Its half inch MDF
