well the time has come....overhauling the suby....

Going:

- JE Pistons 100mm
- Eagle Rods
- Fully built Tech Works engineering SOHC heads with stage 3 cam
- Koyo Radiator
- ARP everything
- Cosworth bearings
- PPG 5 speed straight cut gearbox

Hope to have it all done by next season....

I'm pretty sure you can modify front license plates as long as the numbers are still visible. So you can cut the top and bottom off (or fold them over) so it looks like a European license plate, and it won't cover nearly as much of the ic.

1st day of my teardown...
Had a little time so began stripping everything down...



After about an 30 minutes...the result:

Day 2:
Took about an hour out today and worked on a little suby...

Pulled the Radiator:




Removed the Header:




Sending the header out to swaintech to get ceramic Coated...no more crappy exhaust wrap for me!

Coming along slowly...no rush...

oh yeah I know...have a bad valve cover gasket...was spraying oil all over.

Having a hard time finding a complete gasket set!
Looking for an EJ257 Lower gasket set and an EJ251 Upper gasket set.
Anyone know where to get these gasket sets from?

Long live the Frankenstein build...lol

PS pump off...
Fuel lines off...
Wiring disconnection began...

subarugenuineparts.com full rebuild kit.

i got one for my sti. im putting the same rods and pistons in. you will have to get your block honed for those cps..if there 99.5m ones, what bearing did you get
