so.... why did yo plug fail? I've used plugs for thousands of miles, never even a leak. how'd you fuck up plugging a tire?

Big hole + right on the edge between the sidewall and tread = high-flex area and failing plugs. A patch would hold it fine, but I don't have the means to take the tire off at home. Plus I'm getting some new snow tires soon anyway, so it's easier to roll the oldies for a little while.
