swapped over EDM tach with proper redline and orange needle
and speedo that had been converted to MPH? it had a sticker over the km/h but i pulled it off. How do I know its been converted aside from testing it when the car finally runs?

also, tried pulling off the needles for the gas/oiltemp gauges since they can't be swapped over (without repinning) and did I break them?

LED strips are on order before I slap it back together and put it in the car.

got the replacement heater controls in. Is there usually such a big gap at the bottom? I can see through to the floor

got most of the intake manifold together. Need to get my fuel rails welded with AN fittings so I can do the parallel mod

did some wire brushing on the block - should I clear coat it or paint it with some engine paint silver? or just leave it.

this is as clean as I've been able to get the head surface with just chemicals and a plastic scraper and a rag. Think its good enough?

and anyone got the part number for a new one of these?
I've got it soaking in rust remover at the moment but I doubt it'll get it all

Hate to be a pessimist, but I think you'd be taking a gamble... granted, it's a gamble I've taken a few times and probably will again. I suppose I'd look into that copper gasket spray for added insurance. Are you gonna run stock head bolts?

thanks bros. I had the red LED bulbs before so hopefully the full strip is a brightness improvement.

and johnxx - no worries dude! I followed your method and I'm fairly certain I figured out what all the mystery connectors were. I bolded the answers in my post just above the red cluster pics. Figuring out how to read this shit was something I needed to do anyway so I appreciate you.
