I've had the car since 2003, so I guess I'll start one of these. 3rd owner, got her from Subaru of Thousand Oaks. I really wanted a RBP RS, but when I needed to get a car I could only find this BDP one. Slowly started modding it, and by 2006 she blew her head gaskets and my brother, my sister's bf helped fix that up and did a timing belt job at the same time. Didn't really do much mods till 2008 when i spun a bearing cuz I was low on oil and was a dumb ass. Starting to get fed up with the car, so I had to decide to just replace the block and sell or do an STi swap. I went with the latter, my sister's bf and I did all the mechanical work and the wiring was done by Iwire when he still was working at GT. It took 3 months to finish only working on the weekends. I left it swapped only for about 1 year and then started modding again.

Crashed it back in 2017 at Buttonwillow and let it sit for a year and finally got it fixed and repainted BMW's Estoril Blue II in 2018.

Current State: Stage 2 + EWG Protune 277 WHP 324 WTQ @19.5PSI (conservative tune for track days on my 100k+ engine on CA 91 crap gas)

Started the 6 speed swap into the RS
Moved the car and all the parts to a shop during off hours:
Its nice to have folding rear seats in the Fozzy.

Everything out:

Made a big mistake, by the tranny falling off of the transmission jack and it cracked the extension caseing where it connects to the drive shaft, to the point where the drive shaft can't fit correctly:bonk:. So I have a new casing extension on order.

I'll upload more pics at home.

Installed DCCDPro
Finally installed and fully working DCCDPro Universal Controller. Jeff is great, good communications with him and good support for trouble shooting.

Using an add circuit to the fuse panel to power the controller

I located the controller under the knee crash pad.
Here is everything taken out to be wired in.

The STi Switch and Knob

I just need to wire in the lights to work with my ver 4 cluster. Kind of hard since I don't have the plug that goes into the cluster itself.

The car handles awesomely with the dccdpro, its more planted during turns.

I'll be putting this in tomorrow. Thanks to This thread I was able to wire the dccd lights.

And thanks to Wannabe WRX for letting me know that I could just use a connector from a 99-01 rs to plug into the dccd lights

1 of the LED's blew during testing cuz i'm a noob with electronics, so i had to replace it. I also added an LED for the auto mode since the ver4 doesn't have an auto LED.

not even... its us maturing... seems like more and more people new owners who have just bought gcs come into this site wanting to already mod.

anyways, great journal, love the dccd light up.. always plus when u can get some jdm bling working in the US. I might have missed it, but are u running 114.3 hubs?

Got the Motion Labs Tuning UpPipe, Tial 38mm EWG, Motion Labs Tuning CrossPipe, Prodrive BCS installed and got the car tuned over at EDO Performance.
I asked for a conservative tune to keep my old engine safe:
The tune was on a DynaPack, according to the tuner, Edwin, stock STi's make 220-230 WHP and 230 WTQ on it.

The EWG is rediculously loud, but the butt dyno likes the current setup.
