From what I've read it helps the BPV hold higher boost pressures at the cost of disabling the over-boost protection. I have boost cut so I'm not worried. I've noticed that it only opens when I shift after building peak boost or its a whole lot less noticeable compared to an unmodified one which opened at the slightest amount of boost when shifting. I've had people confuse my BPV for a BOV in my previous car.
BOV is not an option. I'm not a fan of the noise they make.
With the mod the BPV will hold up to 24psi allegedly.

Sounds like it might be higher. I'm assuming the stock BPV is good for 24psi.
Once I get the Flex Fuel finalized we'll see if it holds more than 24psi. Unfortunately there is only one place in Reno that has E85.
