I don't think that's worth splitting the block to do a dingleberry hone. I'd run it.

thas the plan. still gotta clean the mating surfaces and do the vitton valves, then I can slap 'er back together.

Is it worth cleaning the piston tops?

best method to clean head gasket sealing surface?
I've heard against using scotchbrite?

using a sanding block and 120grit?

Welp, with sunshine and my other project out of the way I decided to roll the bitch out and get to it.

annd shot my shot. My gun is crap, it got clogged and stuck and dripped a whole bunch on me. The paint job is definitely a 10fter but its done now. Came out much lighter than I anticipated as well.




real progress to resume once this shit is dry.
