First session, the one I wasted most of it behind a Corvette that must have thought "im going to the track, better add 4 more quarts of oil before I leave"

BTW how was the helmet? Did you feel a little more confident?

Gloves are nice too, one would not think so. I hate to say my cheap ass has used golf gloves and they are MAGIC. Yea not fire proof lol but shit, best few bucks at walmart for sure. It can be hard to find a pair or even a right, most are left hand gloves.

The helmet was a racequip, same one I almost bought. A bit heavy but didn't hinder his ability at all. So I think once I look again for helmets I'm gonna worry more about weight. For now that cost is going towards scales and an oil cooler

But for track performance analysis you rather want to know actual brake pressure, so I got a 1600 psi pressure sensor )
Still need to wire it though, I have great hopes for this weekend for more progress.

Great to see you on the track!
Brake changes aren't on my radar yet. They actually did very well, never felt any fade or shake, always felt I had more brake than I needed too. It's gonna take many laps to get to that point. Think my current focus is corner balance > oil cooler > sti oil pan > tires > brake pads > power

TSS makes a balljoint fitting thats super beefy and theyre cheap, id rather use those over the oem sleeve as there isnt much contact area for the tubes to use.

Almost done. Didn't end up bracing it. Don't think it's needed
