I haven't had the chance to drive it yet. I bought it with what was believed to be bad headgaskets. I've been pricing bare blocks, and they aren't too spendy, but now I have to do WAYYYYY more work than I had anticipated. sigh, I wonder what it's like to do things the easy way and buy something that runs and drives.

I think I found the block halves I'm going to buy. Would you still call it a rallispec block, or a former rallispec block? I'm only replacing the block halves, hopefully.

At least the heads will be easier to reinstall with the block out. I'm trying to fix the car asap so I can actually drive it rather than sitting in the driver's seat making noises(you know you've done it). I really appreciate the interest you guys have shown in the car, my friends and family aren't as "enthusiastic" about the creature. I'm toying with the idea of calling it "The Chimera". I'm open to suggestions.

I've almost collected all the bits and pieces for a full rebuild, but the website I bought a majority of my stuff off of seams to have f***ed up my order and forgot to send my bearings. Sigh, at least I have more time for research now.

About to buy one of two front end conversions. would it be better to have a white front or different colored blue? which would look better? I think the blue is rbp.

In the process of pulling the engine, the s***** is holding on for dear life though.

Finally got the engine Pulled!!!! Things are finally rolling again. I had to wait ages for my stuff to arrive. It took 3 weeks for them to ship my bearings and they still haven't shipped my wrist pin clips.
