Finally! Was able to pry this off the partout car, newest treat for Bluebird:

Still debating on using the leather center part.

Shwaaaaattt? Just throw it in storage in case you want to sell the wheel but NEVER use that cover.

I wanted to retain stock-ish look in the cabin, also I'd NEVER sell this wheel! It's a MoMo Cobra wheel from the late 80's, was used in Legacy Type-RA's.

Fair enough, that's awesome. Good shape for a wheel from the 80s!

For comparison:

Also did the fog covers, but I am debating on using them:

And this stuff ready to be installed:

Those tiny front rotors were very light, coming in at around 11 lbs. each. I also have the JDM front beam to use with the bumper, so much weight will be shaving off...
Did you use "flexible" paint on the urethane bumper? I have the same v4 bumper that's been burning a hole in my pocket! Dying to get mine put on but painting it has been holding me back. A friend was telling me I can't just rattle can it and that I need some sort of special paint for it.

I probably should have, but no I didn't. I actually did more prep work on it this time then when I had it on my Acadia Green sedan, however.

My theory is to just paint it, and put it on the car. When it chips, fades, gets otherwise fucked up etc...I'll just bring it to my paint guy and have him fix it. I'd rather have this cool bumper on with the lightweight jdm beam then not, jah feel me?

Anyway, there's a whole section on this site devoted to all things bodywork/paint that can be accessed through the search function.

Should I? I kind of like how it's 'authentically worn', (sounds corny, I don't intend it to). It just oozes motorsport history...
