I gave up and ordered the R160 Suretrac rear diff from a V5/6 so it uses normal axles. I hope I don't have issues blowing it up with the 65% rear DCCD. The car makes pretty good power now but I have no idea how much.
My buddy has a 17 WRX with Cobb tune, full turboback and intake and we raced in Mexico. I pulled him a few times and especially at higher speeds he pulled me. can't wait for 4.444 again so I top out at like 120. I still have a "soft limiter" at around 6500 RPM. It's sad becase it builds power so well and wants to keep going but was tuned to stop at 6500.
So the ISC N1s got here. Well the right side of the car at least I hope they aren't too much lower. I am guessing the stiffness accounts for most of the height difference (10k F 8k R track valving).
So after dinner today I:
-Pulled all struts out. I had to cut notches in all 4 to get the brake lines out as it was fully boxed in from when my buddy put SS lines in.
-Pulled the diff and driveshaft. (Hardest part) F you MN salted roads.
-Pulled the trans. I took off the Kartboy short shifter and trans mount/exhaust hanger too.
All this took just over 2 hours I can't believe it.
I left the clutch for tomorrow haha I guess I will be bored
