I forgot to make a HUGE shoutout to Combat Chuck and our friend Peter, who is on here but I don't know his username. They helped me do head gaskets on my daily and I very much appreciate it!! Great guys!!
My MAF crapped out from the rain. Make sure you have the little covers under the vents if you run through the mud or even rain. I had to pick one up for $85, remanufactured, to make the event this weekend.
I pulled back the tabs where the vents went since the RTV sealed very nicely. Please excuse my crappy pictures and duratrash battery.
Also, this is the first time since I have owned the car that the check engine light has not been on! The car is running great too!

MAF senser - $85
=============== Total invested - $1,415
Not to cheat, but the wheels and tires are $400 that are really my winters for the daily, so I'm looking at $1,015 besides that.
Stay tuned for pics and GoPro footage of the August 14th rally event!
My radiator had a slight leak for a while, but finally blew the day before the race. Good timing. When I did headgaskets on my daily, I replaced the radiator for peace of mind that all was finished. So I swapped it in.
The fans from my 95 didn't exactly line up to the 01 radiator. So I ziptied it.
My front end is banged up and you can see how my radiator doesn't exactly line up lol. This is how it sits sitting in the mounting slots.
Because the fans were moved over, there was no room for the coolant overflow bottle. I improvised.
On the passenger side wheel well, I have no protective plastic and the airfilter is exposed. I wanted to protect it from excess dirt, mud and water. Made some stuffs.
Tobias thus far - $1,330
Radiator swap - recycled
================ Total Invested - $1,330
The event went great and the car drove amazing! I beat the piss out of it, but it took everything I threw at it!
