Some photos of the carnage I found when removing all the old hubs and suspension. Tons of boot tears, bent lateral links, and more. Good thing it's all getting replaced! Oh and the wonderful smell of transmission fluid.....gross
Made some major progress yesterday. Removed the old 5 speed and installed the 6 speed into it's new home. Apologize for the dark photos. My iPhone was all I had on hand and it makes it look like we were working in pitch dark haha.
Made some more progress today. Refreshed all the bushings and reinstalled the T-Brace for the rear differential. Put in the refreshed rear crossmember and placed lateral links/trailing arms in their respective locations. Also tore down the engine bay a bit and removed the dash with my buddy Scott. He was very enthusiastic about it as you can see in the photos. Starting to get things ready to remove the motor and place in the harness when it arrives.

You definitely don't want to rub your face on it Banshee hahaha. That picture is extremely deceiving. Somehow it depicts a very nice condition carpet but in reality the previous owner didn't mind spilling all kinds of drinks and stuff on it. Luckily the rest of the car is pretty clean.
Hoping to have some more awesome updates this week/weekend. Have to keep the progress moving along.
Goal for driving around is Dec 17th. In a perfect world this will be the chariot that takes me to the The Force Awakens opening show. Nerd alert.
