Like dreamer said the GD has the holes in the bottom of the rocker panels they're just covered with body plugs. With the the factory clips along the bottom and a zip tie on each end I didn't need to drill the holes on the side for skirts
So not a whole lot has happened with Roxy. I picked up a yakima roof rack for $80, my girlfriend bought me a set of classic rally armor mud flaps with the red logo for my birthday and my windshield was smashed by a walnut the size of a baseball.
After fighting with the insurance company for a couple weeks they finally agreed to fix my windshield for free without a deductible!
Following that repair I took the car out to a friends garage where we were throwing around the idea of doing a muffler delete and he ended up having a prefabbed blast pipe from another guys car. He was gonna throw it away! Can you believe that!!! So we did it, cut the muffler off and welded in the blast pipe. While it was up in the air we decided that wasn't going to cut it so we cut out the massive resonator in the mid pipe and welded in straight piping. She now sounds much more like a Subaru should and I couldn't be happier!
Pictures & sound clip to come!
Just bought a Replica V-limited front lip from a guy on NASIOC for $35 shipped!!
So about this. I got the lip really quick. The guy was a great seller but he wasn't accurate on the description and I neglected to ask what generation it went to haha. Dumb on my part. I put it on with hesitation and came to the conclusion it's meant for 04-05, check it out.
Doesn't look terrible after getting a little creative
Well a couple days later someone online was in the market for such a lip so after running it for about a week ....I sold it and I'm going to get the right one haha.
Still haven't bought the right lip due to the holidays and what not but i did manage to pick up a set of H&R Sport Lowering springs for $100. now to just find the time to put them on! Also picked up a Pioneer radio to replace the shitty Alpine one that worked whenever it felt like it aaaaand dipped my stock wheels black for whenever winter weather decides to show up.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from myself, my family, & Roxy!
Well the winter weather has finally made itself known here in the Carolina's and the weather being so unpredictable I figured I'd get ready and take the Rota's off and throw the factory wheels back on. Plus the tires on the Rota's started showing wires. The nice thing about it is the tires on the factory wheels don't even have about 1000 miles on them!
here's a before and after of the radio
and this. oh well i want to recreate the combination by using the wrx rear bumper spats and a FD rear diffuser but minus all the stancey stuff.
