very nice forum, it helped me a lot
since a few months iam a proud owner of a 1998 GC8, its J-Spec with the
EJK engine. i bought the car from a guy from the us base in schweinfurt germany.
its in really nice condition without any rust.
everything is stock, except a boost gauge, an oil cooler and a 3" downpipe
i rebuild the clutch and spend it a new timing belt and water pump etc...
aaaaand the engine is blown :/ it knocks very loud
it happened wit 100/110 MPH on the german autobahn
disassembly is in progess, next weekend i will open the block..
nope i use the one i have..
internals are some new manley forged pistons, forged rods ..all other parts original subaru
and maybe arp head studs..but dont know yet
