Ok... The heater was test fitted.
The screws were removed in favor of flush aluminium rivets..

This allows it to be mounted flat.

Now onto the hood latch.
Took some balls (at least for me) to cut that JDM aluminium hood.

Pin placement seemed OK but that wasn't the case..
We had to fiddle around to get it properly aligned.

Balls out.. and I cut the other latch.

Lower rad beam was removed in order to properly align the intercooler and radiator..

Up close and personal with the risers to clear the STI radiator.

Finally the seat and steering column were mounted to test the placement of the new hydraulic hand brake..

A very painful process of Aerosim.
Up to the point where I thought I lost my deposit and the project was scrapped.

Rear bumper has been installed.
Few minor welds are still needed here and there but the bumper is up.

I'm going to order one from them after I get home from USAF basic training. Hopefully it goes smoothly... :/

A productive Saturday I must say...
Managed to custom mount the IC.

After 3 week wait... this beauty showed...

Raised rad supports to clear the lower outlet.

At 33" the IC was longer than expected...
Some plasma action and welding was applied.

Building a fork lift.. are we ?

Finished product... Lower IC mount brackets.
With the front bumper beam mount holes nicely boxed.

A glimpse of the Master welder.

A finished product with top support beam

Next step... Cutting the carbon bumper....
