That guy sucks.... Im 150% convinced he doesnt want to sell what he has or doesnt have it. I looked through his list and inquired for about 6-8k worth of parts. The only response i could get is that "it doesnt work on a stock car"

i know this....... im a fabricator by trade. I can make stuff work.

Moar parts came in today so it was time to finally put the power steering issue to rest.

Rack cross line that I cracked while replacing the subframe came as well.

After about 30 min I finally figured out where to mount the PS reservoir.
This required the alternator bracket removal
.

There it is.. a clean install.

Was this close to drive with PS ... but since the tank is mounted in a different position the pump feed has to be turned 180 to work..
But it cant work since there is no way to secure it.
So.. I have a AN fitting conversion and will need to wait for -10AN 90...

Drivers seat with new brackets and belts has also been installed.
I had to re-drill the mounting brackets and push it back about an 1".
Now I feel like its too far...

Last but not least.. I am sure most of you mark your bolts once they are torqued.
If not here is a handy marker that I use to mark all the bolts that have a final torque. A sharpie is used when the bolt is removed.

So.. Power steering is done and works like a charm.
Thank you Amazon Saturday delivery.

Up next was coolant tank install.
Here is the bracket with supplied bolt.
Why Mishimoto ? why ?

You could say there is lots of room in the engine bay...
Here it is installed.

Went ahead and changed the tranny fluid.
What came out wasnt amusing.
Put some crappy one to flush before Motul goes in.

Also I've noticed that I cant put 5th and 6th gear in.

It was then time to put on them stickers..

Last but not least.. Rear sti sticker has been applied.

As some of you know.. this build wasn't really my idea.
I got talked into it..
It only took few minutes before my mind was made up.

Nonetheless I came up with an idea.
Since Robert's and mine names both start with R, I made a little sticker honoring his involvement with the build.

Pic is a bit blurry but...

It says "Я2 Production"

I wanted that S12 hood so bad when I had my 07.

Of course I got the same reply, yet the price tag was $2,700 USD PLUS shipping.

Very nice updates.

Funny you mention the marker and torque... now that I am in aerospace I bought stuff to do on my car haha. I just planned to use a T.E.C. sharpie though

The tale of invisible string.

It was time to do one of them alignments.
I had to somehow square the adjustable lateral links.
There was a bit of toe on the rear and the front right was out qute a bit.

Seems to drive a bit better.

Scales came in handy as they lifted up the car.

After that was a time for a first wash...
Thus finally some better pics.
