Finally some news on the GC. I changed the flange on the uppipe, only to have that one warp too... Managed to fix it with sanding compound or whatever it is called, just twisted the fire ring on the flange until it was even.
So, started putting everything back last night
Got it running earlier, and turns out its pissing coolant. Seems to be from the coolant port plugs on the turbo. Tried tightening them but no luck. I'll have to try replacing the copper rings tomorrow
I also changed my oil. And I'd be surprised if the engine is gonna last the summer...
Fixed the coolant leak yesterday, seems to be all good now. Went for a short drive to see how it goes and it feels really smooth. Fetched the plates today and got it insured so now it just needs a wash and we're good to go!
And I changed out the black housing headlights for some crystal ones. The black is gonna suit the wagon much better once it is done so I made a trade lol
