Appreciate all the kind words! It'll get sorted out eventually. Bummed it won't be while Joe and the gang is out here.. but oh well. I've got a fat pig of an A6 to "keep up" with them this weekend

Every time I looked in the mirror you were right up my ass Maybe I had you in the straights but too much roll for the corners.

Finally heard back from the motor company.. They want me to send back their motor so they can disassemble it, determine "if" anything went wrong, fix it and send it back to me.. So, another month of no car, I would imagine. They haven't updated me on my core charge, they barely write cohesive emails back without answering numerous questions and really, they just kinda suck. I keep getting emails asking me to review them and I'm at a point where I should just give them the negative review I feel they deserve at this point.

This was supposed to be a relatively easy process and it's been an absolute nightmare. I'm wondering if it's even worth sending it back or just have another shop look at it instead. Or send it back and demand a refund. I'm so fed up with it.

It really does suck. I miss my little rattle-box.

If you bought the engine with a credit card it might be just about time to threaten a charge back if they don't shape up. That often convinces companies to realize how committed they are to customer service. Other than that, not sure what to suggest. :|
