you track a lot right. I signed up for a TNiA at Pittrace in a couple weeks. Right now im just on as a track tour laps, a few paced laps to get to see it. But They have them each month and if i want to go back in May i want to be prepared. Couple things I'm worried about:
-Oil Pan, stock ej205 style
-tires, probably get some GT Radial SX2's for now
-Brakes, I have stock Legacy GT brakes, 336mm fronts with sliding calipers. pads i dunno, wearever gold ceramic maybe on there now
You won't be doing anything with track tour / pace laps. You need to sign up for an actual HPDE where you have no limits on the track.
I would probably upgrade pads and fluid for your first track day, then depending from there how much more you do it start upgrading things like tires, upgraded oil pick up and etc.
Fuel cell install almost complete, cage will be painted black and wiring needs to be finished.
Plan was to cut out the spare tire well and drop the fuel cell in but there isn't room. Sway bar would be in the way and after searching other coupe builds with fuel cells you either mount the fuel cell on the trunk or go smaller fuel cell. Should be good though to help balance out my weight in the car.
Added to first page mod list:
Fuel Safe Enduro Fuel Cell ( FIA-FT3 certified, 15 Gallon, powercoated Black)
Radium Engineering Fuel Cell Surge Tank (20-0491-21)
AEM 50-1200 E85 Fuel Pump
Radium Fuel Level Sender (20-0247-09)
Are you gonna put in any sort of firewall? I know certain W2W series require them if you're running a fuel cell in the back.
Also, are you running any sort of fire suppression? The kits are pretty affordable these days. Fuel mods always make me nervous.
Yeah, I'll be getting a firewall and fire suppression soon after. I don't ever plan on doing W2W because I love my car too much... maybe time attack some day but for now I just want to do HPDE events at tracks across the country
