The car was in a fender bender, luckily it was only the crash beam and middle support affected. So while i had the car up, i replace the beams.

no damage! I did discuss this prior to buying.

old beam..

my new and improved? beam

Being fwd and super slow, this weight reduction will be so beneficial.

Yes i know this is a safety hazard.

Bought the wrong steering rack bushings, so i pulled the bushings from my old RS. Cleaned them, new grease, all good to go. Also put my white line 22mm front sway on...should be fun.

I then choose to top that off with using my RS a arms connected with my white line anti-lift kit. I would rather run this on my dd and not break them on the rally car. Plus, the rs ball joints are perfect, so i can replace the failed ones on the impreza. I disassembled them, cleaned them, and put new grease. They are on the car now.

I removed the old lateral links on my car. We were going to swap the rear two out for ones with end link tabs. The FWD rear cross member is different than an AWD model. It's smaller, so Subaru used one super long bolt, same as the ones in the rear hubs, for the lateral links. AWD models use 2 sets of smaller boltes, one for each link. The FWD also uses a special bushing with a wider hole, and a collar that slips into it, allowing the bolt to adjust the toe. The bushing also has a small part that sticks out to help to keep the arm off the cross member, so they only go one way.

I then mounted the rear sway bar mounts to the car. Subaru puts plastic clips in the holes since my car did not come with a rear sway bar. Remove the clips, threaded holes appear. With the mounts mounted, I installed the 24mm rear sway bar. It's big! I connected the bar with Noltec rear end links, however the bushings were falling apart. Damn old parts lying around.

I will see if Kartboy bushings will fit the holes, or, if there are other press in bushings as Noltec is no longer around. I just used OEM end links in the mean time, and put them on the stiffest setting.
