After getting the spark plugs, fuel filter, and fuel pump replaced my car still won't turn over in the cold mornings. (-9 F). Battery and alternator are good and everything wants to turn on. I'll try throwing some premium gas in it again, definitely made for an easier winter start the last couple weeks.
Did you ever get this sorted out? Coil pack maybe?
@eastbaysubaru: The problem got better as winter went on, I plan on getting my grounds checked for that car soon as well to help with electricity flow. Appreciate the concern thanks!
No problem. Having just gone through some hesitation/stuttering issues myself, and seeing as you're another BRP GM6 owner, I'd like to lend what assistance I can. I replaced a few other things (plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, PCV valve, alternator) at the same time as the coil pack and I also cleaned up all of the factory grounds in the engine compartment. Car's running like a champ now. Good luck!
Been having a lot of fun driving the car, especially with full working AC this summer. Had a loan denied last month, so things like paint and quarter rust have been pushed back again. (broke college kid problems) Front brakes have been done recently, still needs attention to the rear rotors, and a couple other small parts. It's currently sitting at 158.2k miles. Despite some small issues, it still handles great and keeps me going.
I've been busy with work and school. Changed front brake calipers and rotors, bled brakes too also new fuel filter and new battery. I have drums in the back, ugh. Still saving for rims after that suspension. Love my subie though it looks crappy right now.
