I haven't done any wood working projects in a while. I have built some canoes, a kayak, poker table etc... I want to make a paddleboard eventually but it will be a while. I need to put some kind of flooring upstairs the garage and put in some kind of dust collecting system.
I turned a small sunroom into a little bar/poker room and hung the kayak on the wall.
hey dude! been following your build for a few years now! love how far its come! great job!
if you have FB,and didnt know. There's a subaru impreza gc8 club, legit where everyone is going for parts, pics etc etc ..check it out! post your beauty up there!!!
Thanks. I am a member of that FB group already. I post to it occasionally. I was a member of the newenglandsubarus forum too but I think that has gone under.

Sorry I do not want to give that out as I've been selling them on ebay and facebook. I was going to post a for sale ad in the classified here, but I think I would need a vendor account which is $700 a year. I'd be lucky to break even.
So now I think I've done everything I ever wanted to do to the GC. I'm going to give it a bath this week then I'll have it back out on the road. I haven't driven it since last summer. I'm still not sure if I'll be at Wicked Big Meet this year or not.
My drivers seat feet were getting a little rusty so I pulled the seat to sandblast/paint them. I also ordered some plastic feet covers for the rear since mine were missing. While everything is out I decided to mess with my carpet. The blue STi carpet has an extra hole that bulges out where the rear seat belt goes. It doesn't line up with the GC seat belt hole and it's very visible. I cut the bulge out, then cut a square section out around the whole. I was able to glue in a piece of extra carpet that I stole from underneath the rear seat area. It looks so much better now.
I made a quick video too documenting the other tweaks I made to the carpet.
