Excellent discussion here about keeping the EG33 together at high RPM and high power levels. Added it to the resource list, even though I'm not building it up to that level, there are some good ideas with regards to cooling and oiling that I may use.

No updates for awhile, in Germany for F1/Spa 24hrs/Nurburgring.

Nice link!

But why you gotta remind me that the nurburgring announced bankruptcy today?

Engine is back from the machine shop, just need to drop it off at another place (more motorsports oriented) for balancing. The crank, rods, flywheel, pressure plate, crank gear and crank pulley will all be zero balanced and I'll weight match the pistons and wrist pins myself.

Picked up a few other bits as well.

cheers

Exterior is stock, OEM S13 Silvia. Even the wheels are stock for the time being (have two other sets, just deciding what to do). All thats done to it is a S14 SR20, FMIC, turbo-back exhaust and an intake.

Easier than making my own header tank. Rad is going under the rad support and there won't be room for a conventional rad cap. So air bleeds will go to the header tank. Still have to figure out some of the routing though.

cheers
