Lightweight NA is a lot of fun for what you're planning on doing with it!

Creeping up on a year without any updates. Not much has really changed. Got bored with the car and it sat at my parents until I got motivation again. Stripped the back half of the car, fixed my head gasket leak, put on my parts from InfernoFab, went a size bigger in tires for the 16x8's. That's just a run down of some not so important stuff.

I've finally gained some motivation again so here's what's on the agenda:

-Orderd my quick release
-Currently trying to find a comfortable racing seat for a big body fella lol
-Picked up a 2.5/5 speed to eventually swap into the car
-Picked up new rear quarter-panels/arches to fix the rust
-Going to sell my current coil-overs and pick up a set of BC's
-Order Whiteline front/rear strut bars

Go to track days.

Some of my parts came in..UPS fvcked me good so I have to wait for my seat, mirrors and rear strut bar are delivered this week. However, I installed my quick release and front strut bar. Painted the wheels black (will get powdercoated this winter) raised it up and evened out the camber to be more functional. Still messing with the ride hide to find the "sweet spot". But, for now here are some pictures.

Bakemono mirrors and my Whiteline rear strut bar came in. Installed those and continued to rip out anything in the interior from the front seats back.

Car is suuuuuuuper dirty. A bunch of little things I need to get taken care of. Going to hopefully start the process of the 5 speed swap next month.

So. here we are. Almost a year and a half late after my last "Update".

I sold the car last December / January because I thought I was over it and time to move on.

Fast forward to early October and the gentleman I sold it to offered it back to me at a cheap price and I instantly said yes. I regretted selling it in the first place but we all make mistakes.

unfortunately I got it back in less than fair condition. Interior was a mess, trans is shot (no reverse or neutral), engine runs super rough.

So now my plan is to have a little bit of redemption and finish what I started before and what my vision was originally.

here's how she sits now.

Hey at least your chassis isn't rusted out! That's always a good start. Did you hang onto the 5 speed you picked up a while back or are you searching for a trans again?

I purged everything when I sold it lol I haven't even begun to think about engine trans stuff. I've got knee issues so a manual swap may be on hold while I research other options lol

I'm wrapping up this right now :

Sequentials are out of the question since they're too expensive but a slightly built 4EAT wouldn't be the worst if I wanted to slap a turbo on this depending on how bad the motor is muffed up. that's a big IF.

I may just keep it NA. But since I have the Sportcross which is fun to drive in it's own right I have a little more wiggle room with this to go any direction I'd like.

Always been a fan of your car, I liked it best with those cream mesh wheels with the 195's...soooo nice.
