didn't realize there were different levels of knock. I thought a knock was a knock and would shatter a piston.

Interesting. Might want to invest in one of these for my build later on...

I think the term 'knock' can represent any unusual engine noise, in my case it's minute detonation issues. The item itself is called "Knocklite" by Turbo XS...which I believe is discontinued

It snowed, and she will not be playing this winter... oh and got JDM aeroguards

hey eino have you considered running e85 to make your car a little more knock friendly? im thinking about doing it when i go in for a tune, might make the engine last a bit longer as well haha

Yes I have, but E85 isn't as easy to get where I live so I have to stick with 93. But I'll be pulling out my engine over winter anyway so I'm not really too fussy on how it runs now, lol. If you can do it, go for it! On a side note, if I were to keep the same engine setup I thought about using aquamist as well or meth injection.

I have considered doing aquamist or methanol but that's just another thing on our ticking time bomb waiting to fail haha
