Hmmm, now you got me thinking.

Maybe that isnt a bad idea though. that way I can make a jig and make two of each one for me and one for the wife's car.

I'd collaborate on that. Tubular subframes is about the next step for me.

I'm down for collab. Thinking about picking up a 3D Scanner soon.

Got off my ass this past weekend and finished the passenger side fender liner. I should have done this long ago becomes rocks kept getting tossed into the door sill area and I have some paint chips to show for it :/

Fit up after the CAD template

Some tree push clips, some black paint and we are good to go.

With all the track time the car has been seeing this year its time for some oiling mods.

First off is the Killer B oil pickup

I'd like to get the pan too at some point but it can wait since I already have the upgraded OEM STi oil pan since my car originally had the twin scroll header from the factory.

Next is my BNIB MFactory oil cooler kit that came with the stockpile of parts that was included with my original 95L Impreza Coupe when I bought it back in 2012. I think its about time to install it

It comes with an oil filter relocation kit but I don't think I'm gonna use it. i'm also kinda feeling like stenciling the PRODRIVE logo on the core.

It didn't come with a thermostatic sandwich plate so I got a Mocal one.

I also want to get some Firesleeve for at least where the SS hoses will cross the header, maybe even just to the whole run of hoses.

Does everyone delete the factory oil cooler/warmer when they add an aftermarket oil cooler?

I prefer to keep it, especially if you drive the car in colder seasons
plus it helps warming the oil faster for it to reach operating temps

^ which would be countered by the cooler. Exhaust does a great got and warming the pan up. Think about warming up the car and waiting for the oil to warm up when your coolant is just as cold as the oil to start.
