Oh yeah, I didnt post it here but got a new DD in Jan since my commute is 80 miles a day now with half of it a canyon road and my forester gets crappy mileage.

03 Type-S!

I have done a couple of mods:
DC5 Integra Type R cluster

and I got a k24 Valve cover from the junk yard with the HONDA txt on it and painted it with some VHT Wrinkle red like the Type R cover.

Before and after with a good cleaning as well

It's like 30% paint, 30% the painter, and 40% prep!

Gotta give yourself that 70% credit

Well the motor came out to fix the TOB issue.

Engine bay got filthy from the rainy day track day, subies are suposed to get dirty right?

Also since the motor was out I took that opertunity to install my prize for winning the Subiefest autox:

And the little bastard that caused the issue:

I noticed that this little wavy spring wasn't included on my Exedy OEM replacement clutch kit:

It looks like it puts light pressure on the bearing cage and retaining ring to keep it in place. I'm pretty that it one of the reasons why the TOB was able to come out of the pressure plate was there was no preload holding the ring in place.

I also wanted to say a special thanks to the guys over at Renner Motorsports Development! They had a replacement retaining ring that they gave me, You guys rock!
