So i guess i will start with a little history of me and subarus. the first car i ever remember riding in was an 82 gl in grey. we had to get rid of that car cause of me. :( then about the time i was 12 or so my parents got subaru number 2 which is a 91 legacy that my mom still drives today. during high school i learned how to drive on the 91 and really liked the car. but much to my dismay my parents made me buy my first car which wasn't a suby :( the fall of 07 i started looking for a nice car i had not liked any of mine that i had owned before. The one thing i knew was i liked turbos and knew a bit about them. so i set out to look for a wrx taking three months to find her. I found a nice little silver wagon that was a 04 no wreck history and a nice young lady owned it. i got the first loan i could and bought the car sadly two months later a drunk driver was speeding up my street behind me and went to pass me as i was turning into the driveway totaling both car instantly. i was heart broken and didn't want to touch another suby for a long time. after a year away from the car scene i started looking at older imprezas and found i would really like a 99 rs in of course a two door. so i was talking to one of my managers at work and she said she had one that had some bad history. no wrecks but someone was going to pay them off for the car and never did so they still had the title. i blew it off thinking ya she was full of it. then one day she came in and said hey i got the car on yesterday are you interested i said yes. when i saw it was a 99 rbp rs i feel in love, then i found her down falls the engine had a rod out the block and the trans was toast,it was a 4eat. i told her i would give her a thousand dollars for it. she took it and i got my dream 99 rs. i got the car home much to my parents dismay again and pulled the engine. it was destroyed the heads were bad the only parts i could use was the intake and exhaust :( i grabbed the first short block i could find which was a ej22 n/a motor and got some 2.5 rs heads on it put it together and tried driving it. i failed i forgot to tighten a cam gear and it broke :( thinking i just ruined a head i just bought i took the motor back apart and found i got lucky on the head it was fine so i pulled everything trans and motor. i wanted a turbo from the start so i started buying turbo parts for the car as i worked my way up to getting the engine done i found a ej22t out of a 93 legacy . i had a shop build the short block and i ordered a wrx 5 speed trans :) i finally got the car together a month back and have been driving it the last month. i am so glad i have stayed with subarus after all this time :clap:

It runs and drives and leaks oil. The little blue turd is back at it. I don't like how rice this car sounds na may have to put a unequal length header on it just to get rid of some of the river ness of it. The t legacy popped a head gasket so I am probably going to build a 25d with some good rods and some 255 pistons I got. And do that swap to it then sell it. I got too many cars now.

bought another 251 going to shove cams header and big exhaust on it since i need to dd it got some cherry door panels for it and finally got the correct dash harness for the car working electronics in the doors will be awesome. still hunting for a ez30r but they are hard to come by here.

omg still have the car what a mess the past few years have been. cars coming back home soon as i get time to get a trailer down to where its parked. guess it got hit by hail again so body needs work and paint now aka its close to time to do the widebody kit. i got four pot calipers over the summer and just got a sti wing. working hard on having this car back i miss her alot. her slutty counterpart may actually come true and i may start my evo5 build i have wanted to for years now. hope to have pics of parts in a month to get with the rebuild and be back driving it next summer. got a promotion at work should allow more time to build my car

so fiddled with stuff scored a beat up old sti knock off wing and a sti grill. holy hell i have bought more for this car in the last month than i have in over a year. i need to get the head off to a machine shop to get new guides and valves put into them. trying to get my mustang motor in so i have a engine stand for the subaru motor so i can go though all the gaskets. forgot i need cv axles up front. if i put sti arms on the car do i need different axles and does the same apply for the back ?

Its been on the road for a month now. Took it to a cars and coffee suprised how many people asked me about it. Found even with my alignment it still pushes in the turn some throttle lift helps but am not brave enough to drive it in that deep. 4pots are nice but still having brake fad issues idk if my rears are just not doing anything or what. If i can keep from stuffing motors in other subarus i could maybe start fabbing up my header for my 3.0r to start my build. Also anyone know when the plastic intake manifolds start to melt i found some powder coat that i want to use but its bake temp is 400°F

Well crap i cooked the ej251 4months ago. And sold the ez30r and bought a 03 wrx time to merge the harness on the gc and make it a rsti. Still doi g research on the tractix cable idea. I cant see spending 1200 bucks for a tuner and tune for a drive train i will have 1k tied up into.
