I just installed the Lucid kit for my '99 RS..and after the install. I started my car and it idled really high, close to 3k rpm...then got a check engine light. I triple checked my connections and uninstalled and installed 3 different times with the same results. I finally uninstalled this kit and my car started up like normal and no check engine light.

What can be the cause of this?

Edit: Nevermind, I fixed it. Turns out the cable that connects to the strut stud wasn't making a good connection or contact. I made sure to sand the contact area a bit...cleaned it all up and reconnected everything and now it works! No check engine light and idles perfect!

I drove around the block after I installed this kit and it does feel a bit smoother as the rpm's rise. As others have said...good bang for the buck! Well worth it!
