Default Subaru diesel EE20 swap *the StiD*

Hey y'all

I bought a 96 2dr Brighton to make a track/hillclimb Subaru diesel car.

The last 48h I bought the car, stripped the interior and dropped the engine, transmission and rear diff.

Parts are listed in Buy/sell section if anybody interested.

Greg

Props for local guy in the South. Not a lot of Subaru going on down here, but good to see there's some!

I import them myself directly from Japan. We usually use them in VW buses but we cannot push the pedal to hard due to the VW transmission are so weak ;-( .

So I decided to go ahead and throw the 2012 package Into a brighton for performance purpose.

Well let's see...

Things I'm not sure yet:

The 96 transmission has stub axles and my 6speed does not... So the cv from the brighton I guess are trash.

I'd like to know if there is any front subframe I could swap so I could use factory 6speed CV's... And by the way have better brakes...

Im so confused. He just used the terms, "diesel" and "performance" in the same sentence.

You can be confused ;-) I agree it's weird but let's see what I can do... I'm targeting 250hp with 360 Ft lb.

Any advices for the front subframe swap would be apreciated :-)

Thanks

Greg
