Question Anyone done this to the GDs?

Hey!

Anyone done this lip on the '04-'05 RS/WRX/OBS wagon? I have given up on all other 'lips'. Tried to fit the STI splitters on my car (too short and a different wheel well contour). Also any lip for the STI/WRX sedan is too WIDE for the narrower wagon. You would have to cut a center pice out and put back together (could work on fiberglass?). But, you still need the splitters that don't fit the wagon.

So, anyone got pics of this on the GD? My worry? Look how round my bumper cover is at the wheel well ~ could look like crap ~ maybe not.

If you got a pic of the lip on the '04/'05... post it up!

a local guy asked me to do it on the same car as yours. the roundness near the wheel well is definitely a set back.

Thanks, that is (was?) my fear. I think I will just be going 'lipless'... which is not the end of the world ~ there are some front camber plates I have my eye on, they drop the front another 3/8"... so, I have held off (but if I have no lip, they are back in the running).

I'm thinking of doing this to mine, because my coilovers are going on this weekend and it's going to be alot lower than usual.

And here i was, thinking lips were about creating more downforce...
