Okay most of you guys are familiar with our 160* Coolsafe Thermostat, as it has always been one of our very most popular products. We've sold many hundreds of them at $60, and now it's time to do a Group Buy discount to get them into even more cars and to bump sales during the winter months! 
There's lots of technical info if you follow the link above to our website. But, the gist here is that our thermostat offers your car safety AND performance! The safety comes from the fact that our t-stat locks itself into the open position in the event that coolant temps become dangerously high or there is excessive air in the system. This is the opposite of the OEM t-stat and the vast majority of other aftermarket ones available. It is enough to save your car from a catastrophic overheating event! A thermostat that fails because of one of the above factors or defect and snaps shut will overheat your car very, very quickly, and on a Subaru with aluminum heads, this very often means warped cylinder heads and a huge expense in repair bills  . The performance comes from our thermostat opening at a lower temperature than the OEM thermostat, and having different flow characteristics. Your average coolant temps will be lower, and the tendancy for temps to spike after you floor the throttle diminishes greatly (which is a big deal on the track, for both cooalnt and oil temps).
