| Rolling on stock goldies. Im thinking about 225/50/16s I hear alot of hype about the rt 615s But dunlops new star spec seems to be just as grippy but does better with wet traction as well. Tires tires tires choices choices choices... |

| The 452's would be your best choice for an all around fun street tire, had them on my last car and they had plenty of grip for fun in the twisties. Might get a bit overworked at the track though. I plan to get another set for this car soon but we'll see what happens. At the 615/SS level, I think the Nitto NT05's and the two favorites. Nathan

| Will the 452s have longer tread life then the star specs and 615s? |

| Most definitely. The 452's are a 320 treadwear tire, the others are much lower. Of course, we all know how accurate those ratings are in real life so YMMV. Literally haha Nathan

| I love my Star Specs. I've also read really good reviews about the new RE-11 too. Here's tirerack's latest comparo. Testing the New Extremes of Extreme Performance Summer Tires

| TiC ran the Star Specs on One Lap... then two months later used the same tires for Redline Time Attack and still won their class... hahah. I'd go for star specs for sure.

| I've got pole positions on mine and they're great. The best tire I've ever felt. As posted, I've seen some great stuff about the new RE-11's but those are expensive as hell. Depending on your suspension you may not be able to fit 225/50/16's because I tried and that didnt work. I've got 205/50/16s and they're close to my strut but only rub during extreme conditions. I might have been able to fit 225's if I had aftermarket struts such as the GR2's or the AGX's and a sway but most likely I probably wouldve still needed to flare my fenders. |

| star specs are the cheapest (at least out here) and have the best lateral grip out of the choices
