| So i've been doing research in my downtime :unamused: and am looking at replacing the junk open RLSD r160 i have. I'm looking at some options for my 4.11 final drive and have come to the final conclusions so far. Love some input. Open = trash VLSD = almost as bad as no LSD Mech JDM LSD = Great bang for buck Cusco style 1.5way LSD= $$$$ and more dorifto oriented. is the mech 4.11 rear STI LSD As good a deal as it seems? My application is AutoX/DD

| You don't have to go Cusco... KAAZ has a good unit. You can reuse your stock axles too! Thing is with the aftermarket the initial lockup is much better as well as LSD action....much more responsive. It's not for "drift".... a 1.5way is recommended for track where as 1way for autoX/gymkhana. The 2way is for drifting as it allows better control of slides and also better lockup for inducing slides getting BOTH wheels to break traction.
