| Hello all. I have an SMC Methanol Injection kit, which is now wired using the supplied wiring. For the control unit itself, a power wire connects to the windshield wiper fuse. When i don't want to use the methanol injection (like when the fluid is low), I pull the fuse with the wire attached, and change the settings on my powerFC. Here's a quick sketch of how the control unit is wired. ![]() What I wanted to do was use my Auto I/C spray switch to turn on the control unit. How would I go about doing this? Would the switch be able to handle the current ok? Here is a wiring diagram of the version 3 STI RA intercooler spray. I'm I have the switches, but the relays are long lost. WHat would I need to do to wire up my Auto I/C switch to power up the methanol unit. My guess would be to cut the power wire that goes from the control unit to the fusebox, and putting one lead on pin 3 and the other on pin 5, but I'm a bit unsure. ![]() If possible, I would love the I/C indicator light to come on my cluster, while the methanol kit is armed. I have the wire run from the cluster...i just don't know where to run it TO in order for it to come on, when the methanol kit is on. |

Use the output from the relay that would be powering the I/C water motor to power the methanol pump = ftw. I may be using an alcohol/water/methanol kit as well to try and save my 20k.
