Default Is this the Optima Red Top for our car?

http://www.batteriesplus.com/pc-2389...-8020-164.aspx

It's only 119 bux. Not bad compared to the prices I've seen around. There is a Batteries Plus store right down the street from me too. I just want to double check to make sure this is the battery for our cars.

I know the neg terminal has to be on the left and the pos terminal on the right. There is only one other battery set up like that and it's the 34 red top.

http://www.batteriesplus.com/p-23883...g-battery.aspx

What one do I go with? Thanks.

You need to make sure that they terminals are towards the fuse box side so the power cable can reach. Sometimes the terminals are on the correct side but they are toward the frontside and the cables don't reach.

you need the 35r. it has the terminals reversed so that you dont have to extend the cables

Now doesn't the R in 35R just stand for red top? I havn't seen a 35R on any website. Just the 35.

Well I just got the 35. No website has the 35R and it wasn't in the guys computer database at "Batteries Plus".

I ended up paying $119.00 for the battery. Not bad at all. I guess they are on sale right now. They normally go for like 170-ish.

What are the cold cranking amps on that one? My battery is starting to shit the bed and time to look for an upgrade.

EDIT: Never mind, scrolled down and saw it's 720
