Default POWER FC & MAP

I know someone that has a power FC on his JDM wrx swap. he wants to replace his MAF with a MAP so he can run flow more air without the MAF resrictions.

can he just wire a normall 3 (power, ground, signal) wire MAP sensor into the power fc inplace of the MAF? or does he need something else becuase there are several map wires?

the voltages that the ecu sees will be different from maf to map. you need to calibrate the changes. not sure if the power FC can do that or not. most likely will need to retune everything.

I bought a MAP sensor for my alcohol injection kit. How would the wiring work if you wanted to use it in place of the MAF?

The PFC uses both MAF and MAP to run the car. Ive messed around with my PFC quite a bit, and i have never seen the option to turn one of them on or off with a logetsoftare or the hand held.
And as far as the MAF goes, just get Z32, Q30 or Q45. the PFC already has accomidations for those. So all you would need to do is, switch it from GC MAF to the upgraded unit on the Handheld or the loget.
