| I have an auto meter one. Lean means lots of fuel little air, rich means little fuel (car runs hotter)? What should my oil temp run normal for my car, and exhaust temp in the headers, after market and no heat rap. |

| umm... Lean means no fuel in air.. rich means LOTS of fuel in air. you would rather have a car run rich than lean. but stoich is perfect.

| if yours is running lean that is bad. your car should run rich when you give it gas. and lean when you are idling/let off the gas.

| i want to install one of these... i actually have one coming but it doesn't have the hardware to hook it up with. by the way unless it's a wideband gauge it's not going to be very accurate. |

| I was wrong it is running alittle rich. And since I have removed my Mid cat, it is real responsive. I dont know if it is working right, I need to see some ones that has it setup right so I can see if I hooked up to the rear sensor or the front. I cant remember witch one I decided to do. |

| 2.2L Turbo | i know this is an old thread but your air fuel gauge is hooked into your oxygen sensor. So in turn it should bounce back and forth all the time. when floored it should stay alittle more on the rich side and when decel it should be on lean.....or off the gauge. But if your oxygen sensor is working slowly it will still read but it will go very slowly |
